What is Big Chicken? Big Chicken is by far HenHouse Brewing’s biggest beer release every year! Big Chicken is more than a massively delicious ongoing exploration of hop excess! Big Chicken is our once-a-year demonstration of the commitment to beer freshness we share with all those who serve our beer! Each year our production team puts together a recipe designed to showcase everything that is getting them stoked about IPA brewing right now! Lately, our team has been looking at ways to make our operation greener by sourcing more ingredients locally. We are proud to say that Big Chicken 2023 will feature locally-grown Genie Barley from Crane Farms in Penngrove that was malted just up the road by our friends at Admiral in Alameda!
